On April 25, 2022, the First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Academician Sergei Chizhik signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on the further development of scientific and technical cooperation, education and training of scientific personnel.

The documents were signed during a visit to Tashkent of the Belarusian government delegation headed by the Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.
The memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is aimed at developing the further integration of the scientific and educational institutions and strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of education and scientific research, joint training of students (undergraduates, graduate students).

The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is to promote scientific, technical and innovative cooperation in the field of agricultural mechanization, further integration of the scientific and educational institutions, strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus in the field of education and scientific research, joint training of the scientific personnel.
