On November 17–18, 2022, the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is holding the VI International Scientific Conference «Intellectual Culture of Belarus: Problems of Interpreting the Philosophical Heritage and the modern tasks of the humanitarian knowledge».

The conference will continue the series of annual events of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, timed to coincide with the UNESCO World Philosophy Day and dedicated to the disclosure and popularization of the intellectual culture of Belarus in the diversity of its manifestations, its philosophical, moral, ethical and socio-political thought, science and education for the world community.

The purpose of the event is to discuss the problems and directions of development of the modern philosophical knowledge in the context of global problems and challenges of our time; assessment of the potential of philosophical science in the Republic of Belarus, the traditions of the Belarusian academic philosophical school, its participation in regional and global cooperation; consideration of the content of the historical and philosophical process in its universal and national dimensions.

The organizers invite the scientists, teachers, employees of the public authorities and administration, enterprises and organizations, experts, specialists in the field of social and humanitarian processes to participate in the conference. When selecting applications, priority is given to in-person and remote presentations.
