The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus announces a competition of 100 young talents of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in 2022.

The competition is held in order to: implement measures to attract and retain talented youth in the scientific, scientific, technical and innovation fields; creation of youth research groups and rejuvenation of the staff of scientific organizations; ensuring continuity between scientists of different generations.

Young scientists working in organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus are allowed to participate in the competition:

- Candidates of Science under the age of 35 as of January 1, 2023 (born in 1988 inclusive), who were awarded an academic degree under the age of 30 (according to the Ph.D. diploma); - Doctors of Sciences under the age of 45 as of January 1, 2023 (born in 1978 inclusive), who were awarded an academic degree under the age of 40 (according to the diploma of a Doctor of Science).

The winners of the competition will be included in the database «100 young talents of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus» (with the issuance of a corresponding certificate) and in the reserve of leading personnel of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. In addition, while they are in the data bank, they receive an annual grant to participate in an international scientific, scientific-organizational or scientific-practical event (conferences, symposiums, scientific schools, short-term internships, etc.).The requirements for participants and the conditions of the competition can be found in the Regulations on the competition of 100 young talents of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

In addition, the participants of the competition send the set of documents specified in paragraph 5 of the Regulations until October 28, 2022 to the competition commissions at the branches of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, taking into account the branch (direction) of the participant's scientific activity at the address: 220072, Minsk, Nezavisimosti Ave., 66 .
