On January 17, 2023, a press conference was held at the National Press Center of the Republic of Belarus on the topic On the Preparation and Holding of the Exhibition of Scientific and Technical Achievements Intellectual Belarus.

The event was attended by Sergey Chizhik, First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Academician, Andrey Ivanets, Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, and Sergey Shlychkov, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus. As Sergey Chizhik noted, the exhibition of scientific and technical developments Intellectual Belarus will be held at the National Exhibition Center BelExpo. Admission is free for visitors on January 21–22, 2023.

As Sergey Chizhik emphasized, the exhibition will be interdepartmental. The exposition is organized in various clusters. Among them are artificial intelligence, IT technologies, robotics; innovative instrumentation; electric transport and its basic components; defense capability and military science; ecology, nature management; biotechnologies; pharmacy, healthcare, medicine; agro-industrial complex, food; space of youth initiatives. It is expected that about 400 samples, including large-sized equipment, will be presented at the exhibition.

«Physicists will be able to show completely new things at the exhibition, for example, on the transmission of information using a laser in space. A system of rapid virus test analysis by scanning test tubes with samples will also be presented at the exhibition. Ultra-sensitive thermal imaging systems will be shown, as well as rangefinders measuring the distance over 1 km with an accuracy of millimeters. The exhibition will also demonstrate systems for detecting fluctuations, in particular in the area of the Belarusian NPP,» said the First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. «There will be samples of electric vehicles from the Academy of Sciences: two frame electric cars and a sports car. The level of their localization is close to 90%. And most importantly, the components will be presented. These are our efficient electric motors, which are accepted for production by Mogilevliftmash, domestic electronics (the Izmeritel plant). The components will also be presented by the residents of the Great Stone,» Sergey Chizhik stressed.
