At the staff meeting on March 6, 2023, the breastplate of distinction named after V.M. Ignatovsky of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus was awarded to Vladimir Kulchitsky, Head of the Brain Center of the Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Medicine, Professor, Academician.

The famous scientist was honoured with the highest award for his many years of fruitful scientific activity, significant personal contribution to the development of academic science, high achievements in implementing the results of scientific activity and in connection with the 75th anniversary of his birth.
The breastplate of distinction named after V.M. Ignatovsky was presented to Vladimir Kulchitsky by the First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Academician Sergey Chizhik.
