On October 13, Deputy Prime Minister Pyotr Parkhomchik got acquainted in detail with the exhibits of the Artificial Intelligence in Belarus exhibition, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
The Deputy Prime Minister asked in detail about the purpose of new developments and the prospects for implementation, as well as about the experience of using already implemented ones. He emphasized that he was glad to see young developers at the exhibition, because they are the future of the country.
Pyotr Parkhomchik was particularly interested in the following developments of the organizations of the Academy of Sciences: a tilt angle sensor developed by Minsk Research Institute of Radiomaterials and implemented in the production of equipment by BelAZ company, a hardware and software complex for the identification and control of the physiological state of animals (developed by the Scientific and Practical Center of the NAS of Belarus on Agricultural Mechanization).
The Deputy Prime Minister noted the importance of developing the IT sphere in the country, artificial intelligence and the introduction of scientists' developments into the real sector of the economy. During the visit, a number of instructions were given. Thus, it was instructed to intensify the completion and implementation of the developments of the Academy of Sciences on artificial intelligence in the field of electric transport, precision agriculture, energy and other areas, on replication and use of developments in industry.
