By executive order of the Head of State, presidential scholarships were awarded to 74 young scientists, including 8 doctors of sciences under the age of 45, 35 candidates of sciences under the age of 35 and 31 young scientists without a degree under the age of 30.

Among them are representatives of the physics and mathematics, technics, chemistry, biology, medicine, agricultural science, geology, social science and humanities. The fellows work within the framework of priority areas of scientific, technical and innovative activities on topics relevant to the development of these areas.

All research and development are applied in nature. The results obtained have high scientific significance, are used in practical activities and the educational process, and contribute to the socio-economic development of Belarus.

The executive order of the Head of State is aimed at encouraging the creative initiative of young scientists, the development of domestic scientific schools.
