On April 3, 2024, the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library hosted the official signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library and the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the NAS of Belarus, as well as the opening of a Remote Access Center (RAC), which gives access to the resources of the Presidential Library. The agreement was signed by Yuri Nosov, Director General of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library, and Stanislav Yuretsky, Director of the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the NAS of Belarus. This signing was held within the framework of events dedicated to the celebration of the Unity Day of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia.

The opening of the RAC will allow users and employees of the Central Scientific Library to use all the materials of the fund of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library, which currently exceeds one million items.

Books and periodicals, newsreels, photographs, scientific and educational films, dissertation abstracts, archival documents and materials are presented digitally.

The guests were introduced to the work of the library and conducted a tour of the Centre for the Old Printed Publications and Manuscripts Researches.
