On April 29, 2024, the grand opening of the updated Honours Board of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus took place. The event was attended by Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov, Deputy Chairmen of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus, academic secretaries of the Departments of the NAS of Belarus, heads and employees of organizations listed on the Honours Board.

As it was noted at the opening, 17 organizations of the Academy of Sciences took part in the competition for inclusion on the Honours Board. Among them there are 15 scientific organizations, 2 organizations of the production sector. In the process of serious discussion and demanding selection, the Bureau of the Presidium decided to recognize the best in terms of the totality of the achieved indicators and put 9 organizations on the Honours Board of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus based on the results of work for 2023: 8 organizations in the Scientific Organizations category; 1 organization of the industrial sphere. These are the collectives of the organizations of the NAS of Belarus, which in 2023 achieved the best results in scientific, technical and innovative, industrial and social activities, which provided high indicators of labor and performance discipline, labor protection and safety.
