On May 28, 2024, a delegation of the Altai Krai headed by Governor Viktor Petrovich Tomenko visited the NAS of Belarus.

The guests got acquainted with the latest developments of scientists at the permanent exhibition of the NAS of Belarus Achievements of National Science for Production. A meeting was held with the Chief Scientific Secretary of the NAS of Belarus Vasily Gursky, which was also attended by academic secretaries of the branches of the NAS of Belarus.

The parties presented possible points of contact between the organizations of the NAS of Belarus and their partners from the Altai Krai, discussed mechanisms for promoting contacts. Agriculture and the production of unmanned aircraft systems were identified as priority areas for cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the Governor of the Altai Krai thanked the Belarusian side for productive negotiations, which resulted in promising directions for further development of cooperation between the organizations of the NAS of Belarus and the Altai Krai, as well as steps for the near future.
