The Konus State Enterprise of the NAS of Belarus was awarded the title of a diploma winner of the CIS Prize 2023 for achievements in the field of product and service quality. The diploma was presented to the representatives of the enterprise during the award ceremony of the winners of the competition within the framework of the 65th meeting of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (ISC, МГС) of the CIS countries, which took place on June 20–21, 2024 in Minsk.

The best organizations from six Commonwealth countries were represented among the laureates and diploma holders of the competition: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, and Tajikistan. Of the 22 laureates and diploma holders of the competition, nine are Belarusian enterprises. Five organizations were awarded the title of laureate: the Minsk Motor Plant holding, MTZ (Minsk Tractor Works), the unitary enterprise Svetopribor of the BelTIZ public association, the Kobrin Butter and Cheese Factory, Babushkina Krynka - the management company of the Mogilev Dairy Company Babushkina Krynka holding. The title of diploma holder was awarded to the Konus State Enterprise of the Scientific and Practical Center of the NAS of Belarus on Agricultural Mechanization, Ceramica Company, the MAZ-Kupava plant of automobile trailers and bodies, the Slonim Meat Processing Plant. Within the framework of the organized exhibition of products and services of Belarusian enterprises, which won the competition, Director of Konus State Enterprise Andrey Zhamoyda at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Piotr Parkhomchik, First Deputy Secretary General of the CIS Leonid Anfimov and General Director of Minsk Tractor Works Vitaly Vovk discussed the prospects and opportunities for the development and increase of capacities of the Konus enterprise in order to fully meet the needs of enterprises of the republic in hot and thermodiffusion galvanizing services.

The CIS Prize for achievements in the field of product and service quality is aimed at stimulating the production of high-quality and competitive products, increasing the export opportunities of commodity producers, and enhancing the reputation of the CIS as a territory where high-quality products are produced. The Prize is awarded every two years on a competitive basis for achieving significant results in the field of product quality, ensuring its safety, as well as the introduction of modern quality management methods.
