The delegation of the NAS of Belarus took part in the exhibition, which was held within the framework of the Second Uzbek-Belarusian Women's Business Forum in Tashkent on August 27–28, 2024, to present the achievements of scientists of the Academy of Sciences as meaningfully as possible.
The first result of the work of scientists in Uzbekistan was the signing by the Institute of Microbiology of the NAS of Belarus an agreement on scientific and technological cooperation with representatives of the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Promising issues of scientific and technical cooperation were discussed and a number of joint projects are planned. Also, the Institute of Microbiology of the NAS of Belarus signed an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation with the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The parties agreed on scientific cooperation in the field of studying peptide products as an alternative to antibiotics. Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry signed an agreement with the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan on scientific and technical cooperation, an agreement was reached on the joint implementation of a number of scientific projects, including in the field of biochemistry of meat and dairy, fish projects. In addition, representatives of the NAS of Belarus visited the University of Science and Technology (Tashkent). Prospects for further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed at the meeting. As a result of the negotiations, the Centre for System Analysis and Strategic Research of the NAS of Belarus signed a protocol of intent. On the second day of work, the Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry and the Institute of Microbiology of the NAS of Belarus signed cooperation agreements with the Research Institute of Animal Husbandry, Poultry and Fisheries (Uzbekistan).
The second Uzbek-Belarusian Women's Business Forum was held in Tashkent on August 26–27, 2024. The purpose of this event is to unite women entrepreneurs of the Republics. The event covers various industries: the service sector, the electrical industry, the chemical industry, light industry, agriculture and food industry, mechanical engineering, electric power (‘green’ energy).
