As part of the official visit to Belarus by Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang, a number of delegations of the People's Republic of China visited the NAS of Belarus from August 19 to 24.

On August 21, 2024, Siargiej Chyzhyk, First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus, held talks with Wang Xiaoping, Minister of Human Resources and Social Security of China. Promising areas and mechanisms of cooperation between the NAS of Belarus and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China were discussed. Ms. Wang Xiaoping made a presentation on the main activities of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China. Siargiej Chyzhyk presented the innovative potential of the NAS of Belarus to the Chinese partners.

On August 21, 2024 the visit of delegations of the Shaanxi Province of the People's Republic of China took place. At a meeting with First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Siargiej Chyzhyk, prospects and mechanisms of Belarus-China scientific and technical cooperation between the NAS of Belarus and organizations of Shaanxi Province were discussed. The guests visited the Scientific and Practical Centre of the NAS of Belarus on Agriculture. During the visit, representatives of the delegation got acquainted with the main activities and scientific and technical developments of the Centre, innovations in the field of crop production and breeding of agricultural plants, visited the museum, the permanent exhibition Achievements of Science for Production.

A delegation from Shandong Province of the People's Republic of China headed by Sun Haisheng, Head of the Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province and Wu Yantao, President of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province, visited the NAS of Belarus. On August 22, 2024, negotiations were held with First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Siargiej Chyzhyk. The program of the visit includes a visit to the Institute of Physics named after B.I. Stepanov of the NAS of Belarus; the Institute of Applied Physics of the NAS of Belarus; the University of the NAS of Belarus; the Physico-Technical Institute of the NAS of Belarus; Institute of Housing and Communal Services of the NAS of Belarus.

A delegation from Guangdong Province of China headed by Liao Bing, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guangdong Academy of Sciences, visited the NAS of Belarus. On August 23, negotiations were held with Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Uladzimir Gusakow. The prospects and mechanisms of the Belarus-China scientific and technical cooperation between the NAS of Belarus, the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province and the Guangdong Academy of Sciences were discussed. The guests got acquainted with the work of the Physico-Technical Institute of the NAS of Belarus and the Institute of Chemistry of New Materials of the NAS of Belarus. On August 24, a Framework agreement on cooperation was signed between the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the NAS of Belarus and the Scientific and Technical Library of Guangdong Province.

Members of the delegations of the People's Republic of China got acquainted with the latest developments of scientists during a visit to the permanent exhibition of the NAS of Belarus Achievements of National Science for Production.
