On February 13, 2025, a visiting press event for representatives of Belarusian media was held at the State Scientific and Production Association "Optics, Optoelectronics and Laser Technology" of the NAS of Belarus. The participants of the press tour were provided with information on the development of micro-, opto- and microwave electronics in the country, and were presented with promising developments in microelectronics, gallium nitride technologies for the microelectronic industry of the country. Journalists could visit a number of scientific laboratories and centers of the Association. The following spoke about new areas of activity and the latest results of the scientists' work: Academician-Secretary of the Division of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science of the NAS of Belarus Alexander Shumilin, General Director of the State Scientific and Production Association "Optics, Optoelectronics and Laser Technology" Maxim Bogdanovich, Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Physics of the NAS of Belarus Ekaterina Zharnikova.
