Vladimir Karanik met with the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Grodno Feodosiy Vladyshevsky
On June 2, 2025, Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Karanik met with the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Grodno Feodosiy Vladyshevsky.
During the meeting, issues of developing cooperation mechanisms between organizations of the NAS of Belarus and Russia were discussed. As Vladimir Karanik noted: "Science is the guarantee of security for any state. The global challenges that scientists face today require cooperation between scientific organizations. These cooperation links and joint projects will benefit our countries."
Among the promising areas of cooperation that were discussed during the talks were nuclear energy, space technologies, AI, new materials, and the development of electric transport. The topics of interaction between scientists from the Academy of Sciences and Russian organizations in the humanitarian and agricultural spheres, training of highly qualified scientific personnel, and cooperation between young scientists from Belarus and Russia were not also left out.
