The traditional holiday "My Family is the Academy!" was held at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus
On International Children's Day, June 1, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus held its traditional celebration, "My Family is the Academy!" This day was more than just another event for everyone; it was a true embodiment of the motto that united generations. For children, it was a unique opportunity to peek behind the scenes of their parents' work and learn about scientific achievements, while for adults, it was a chance to appreciate the value of family ties.
Welcoming words at the opening were delivered by Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Alexei Trukhanov, Chief Scientific Secretary of the NAS of Belarus Vasily Gursky, Chair of the Primary Organization of the Belarusian Women's Union of the NAS of Belarus Yulia Kochurko, and Chairman of the NAS Employees' Public Organization Ivan Baranovsky. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of family values and the role of each employee in the large and friendly family of the Academy.
