The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus continues the tradition of organizing lectures of the leading scientists of the world research centres on topical issues of science. On September 8, 2015 the lecture “Modern methods of application of scanning probe microscopy” was given at the NAS of Belarus, which focused on the latest achievements in the mentioned field. The lecture was given by Prof. Sergei Magonov, President NT-MDT Development Inc. (USA), a well-known scientist in the field of scanning probe microscopy.
Prof. Sergei Magonov, a Belarusian, is a prominent expert in scanning probe microscopy for studying polymers and has been engaged in this area for more than 20 years.
