NAS of Belarus delegates take part in closing ceremony of Days of Belarusian Culture in Latvia

On October 31, 2015 the closing ceremony of the Days of Belarusian Culture dedicated to the 525th anniversary of the first Belarusian printer Francysk Skaryna’s birth was held at the Zielonis concert hall of the National Library of Latvia (Riga). Alexander Lukashanets, Vice-Director for Science of the NASB Centre for Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Research, NASB Corresponding Member, gave a speech about Francysk Skaryna at the closing ceremony, stressing the significance of such events for establishing and strengthening the cultural links between the neighboring nations, broadening the knowledge of Belarusian history, language and literature in Latvia.
