The event will be attended by the Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov, the Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Shumilin, Academician-Secretaries of the NASB Departments and the country's leading scientists.
The main directions and priorities of science development in the country for 2017, the most significant and breakthrough projects of Belarusian scientists in various fields of knowledge, as well as developments offered by science to the country’s economy will be presented at the event. Today new manufactures and high-tech industries, such as aerospace, biotech, pharmaceutical and nuclear power industries are being formed with direct participation of the NASB scientists. Enterprises of mechanical engineering, chemistry, agriculture, microelectronics and many others are being modernized.
The presentation will feature the latest information about the ninth Belarusian Antarctic expedition.
