Declaration of International Symposium "Integration of Belarusian Scientists into Research Programs of Leading International Nuclear Physics Centers" adopted

The International Symposium "Integration of Belarusian Scientists into Research Programs of Leading International Nuclear Physics Centers" completed its work at the NAS of Belarus. Within three days, more than 100 scientists from Belarus and abroad discussed current problems of international research in the field of elementary particle physics, high energy, nuclear physics, astrophysics, etc.

During the opening ceremony of the Symposium, the International Center for Relativistic Astrophysics ICRANet Minsk was officially opened and the founder of the ICRANet Center Professor Remo Ruffini (Italy) delivered a public lecture.

The final Declaration adopted by the Symposium participants states that Belarusian scientists are interested in involving our industrial capabilities in the development and creation of large-scale experimental physical facilities, as well as in processing data being obtained with their use. One of the proposals received during the summing up of the Symposium was to create a Coordinating Committee in order to better organize scientific activities in the field of nuclear physics. The Declaration assumes that the Coordinating Committee will include the leading scientists of the Academy of Sciences and higher education institutions.
