During the exercise, 4 sorties of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Busel-M 40 were carried out. In addition, the capabilities of the unmanned aviation complex (UAC) Busel-M 40 and the Burevestnik UAV, developed in the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, were demonstrated. In 2018, the Burevestnik UAV will be transferred to the Emergencies Ministry of the Republic of Belarus in order to monitor the radiation in the area of the Belarusian NPP.
The course of the exercise was observed from the watchtower by the leadership of the Belarusian and Russian Emergencies Ministries, observers from the IAEA, the CSTO countries, Poland and Latvia.
