Fidel Angel Castro Diaz-Balart, Vice-President of the Cuban Academy of Sciences, Scientific Advisor of the State Council of the Republic of Cuba, a famous scientist in the field of theoretical physics, nuclear physics and energy, quantum theory, nanotechnology;
Baiba Rivza, President of the Latvian Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, an outstanding scientist in the field of economics, agricultural entrepreneurship, risks, regional development and market research;
Alexander M. Sergeev, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the RAS, an outstanding scientist in the field of laser physics, high-power laser complexes, femtosecond optics, the theory of nonlinear wave phenomena, plasma physics and biophotonics;
Steven Chu, Professor of Physics, Molecular and Cellular Physiology, Stanford University (USA), Nobel Prize in Physics (1997) for the development of the method of laser cooling of atoms;
