On the first Congress day, which will be on 12 December 2017, delegates and guests will work in nine program sections on the main directions of scientific development and international cooperation, namely:

Physics and Informatics in the Technologies of the Future (B.I. Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Conference Hall);

Engineering Science-Industry 4.0 (the Belarusian National Technical University, Conference Hall);

Modern Chemistry and Rational Nature Management (the Belarusian State University, building of the administration);

Modern Biotechnologies (the V.F. Kuprevich Institute of Experimental Botany of the NAS of Belarus, vul. Akademičnaja 27);

Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, vul. P. Broŭki 3);

"Native Humanities - to Society" (the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Great Conference Hall);

"Innovative Agro-Industrial Complex (Scientific and Practical Center for Agriculture Mechanization of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, vul. Knoryna);

"Youth and New Horizons of Science" (Lyceum of the Belarusian State University, vul. Uĺjanaŭskaja 8);

International Scientific Cooperation at the Present Stage (Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, room 216).

Within the framework of the section work, a meeting of the Council of the International Association of Academies of Sciences (IAAS) and a meeting of the Advisory Council on Intellectual Property Protection and Technology Transfer under IAAS will take place.

The sections will work at the NASB organizations, as well as at organizations of other ministries and departments. Each of the nine sections will provide a thematic exhibition of new innovative and scientific developments. A plenary session will be held in the Palace of the Republic on December 13, 2017. The “Science and Technology, 2018-2040” draft strategy is to be the key document presented at the Congress.
