On 12 March 2018, Lyubov V. Khotyleva, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Honored Science Worker of the BSSR, laureate of the State Prize of the Belarusian SSR, an outstanding scientist in the field of genetics and plant biotechnology, celebrates her 90th birthday.

The Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus held a solemn meeting dedicated to the anniversary of Lyubov V. Khotyleva and the 69th anniversary of her scientific, pedagogical and social work. Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov, members of the NASB Presidium, leading scientists of the country, and students of Lyubov Vladimirovna came to congratulate the academician. On the occasion of the jubilee, Vladimir Gusakov presented Academician Khotyleva with the Gold Medal of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus "For the Great Contribution to the Development of Science", the highest award of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The staff of the Institute of Genetics and Cytology, students and colleagues heartily congratulated Lyubov V. Khotyleva and expressed their gratitude and deep respect for her selfless labor, talent and professional skill, for faithfulness to a high calling, attentive and sensitive attitude to people.
