The United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will present a methodology for converting spelled Belarusian words into phonetic transcription, and the Orthoepic Dictionary of the Belarusian Language which is the first complete linguistic guide to literary pronunciation. The book version of the dictionary was published in 2017. It contains a full transcription of more than 117,000 words of the Belarusian language, taking into account the variants that do not contradict the norm.
The stand will also present the System for Remote Monitoring of the State of Agricultural Crops, which is being developed jointly with specialists of the NASB Scientific and Practical Center for Agriculture. The system aims at improving the efficiency of decision-making when planning and regulating agricultural activities.
The Institute also developed a mobile application KrokApp for the Android platform, which allows tourists to listen to interesting historical and architectural information, legends and useful tips while moving. The application turns a city into a living museum. At the moment, KrokApp provides information about more than 20 cities in Belarus. The content is available in Belarusian, English and Russian languages. It is also planned to add information about the sights of all 110 cities and towns of Belarus, as well as of the rest 27,000 localities.
The IT Country stand will present the development of the Institute devoted to information support of workplaces in medical institutions.
The Centre for Identification Systems will present the State Information System of Identification, Registration, Traceability of Animals and Products of Animal Origin (AITS), which is intended for state regulation and management in the field of identification, registration, traceability of agricultural animals (herds), such as cattle, horses, goats, sheep and pigs, and for identification and traceability of animal products in supply chains.
Automated system «Control of Goods Legality» is made to monitor the supply chain on the way of goods from a manufacturer to an end buyer. It combines the most advanced technologies for goods identification that meet international standards, namely bar coding, radio-frequency identification tagging, electronic certification. The system can be used by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs engaged in production of goods, their importation into the customs territory of the country, wholesale and (or) retail trade in goods, as well as by controlling bodies and end users.
In addition to the exhibition, the program of the International Forum on Information and Telecommunication Technologies provides for a plenary session "Strategy of Digital Transformation", a thematic event of the Eurasian Economic Commission, a start-up competition "BELARUS ICT STARTUP AWARD" and other events.
