New sculptural composition "Continuity of Belarusian Science" is opened in front of NASB Presidium and new academic year for Masters of Science at NASB Researchers Training Institute is started

On 1 September 2018, an opening ceremony of the new sculptural composition "Continuity of Belarusian Science" (sculptors Elena Kharaberush, Leonard Pokulnitsky and architect Armen Sardarov) was held in front of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in the framework of the solemn event dedicated to the start of the new academic year.

The sculpture performs not only a decorative function, but also has a significant meaning. It shows the connection of generations between Belarusian scientists. The bronze sculpture dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will become an important artistic dominant in the overall composition of the entrance area of the NASB Presidium; will emphasize the main idea of the historical architectural structure, its style.

On the 1st September 105 undergraduates began to study in 9 specialties at the Researchers Training Institute of the NAS of Belarus. Addressing to the students with a welcoming speech, Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov encouraged them to take an active research and life position, to be closely involved in the life of scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
