On 31 October 2018, the results of the competition for Prizes for Young Scientists on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus were summed up at the extended meeting of the Bureau of the NASB Presidium.
This one-time only competition was held in seven nominations and aimed at supporting talented young scientists of the Academy of Sciences, whose scientific works were important for basic and applied science. It was timed to the 90th anniversary of the foundation of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The Prize is equal to 100 basic units.

In accordance with the NASB Presidium Resolution No. 542 dated October 31, 2018 «On Awarding Prizes for Young Scientists on occasion of the 90th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus», the following scientists became the Prize winners:

in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science – Maxim S. Leonenya;

in Physico-Technical and Technical Sciences – Alexander Y. Sidorenko;

in Chemistry and Earth Sciences – Dmitry O. Dormeshkin;

in Biology – Olga G. Dmitruk;

in Medicine – Marina A. Derevyanko;

in Humanities and Social Science – Nikolai A. Volkov;

in Agricultural Science – Valentina I. Kolyuk.
