The meeting was also attended by Vladimir Gusakov, Chairman of the NASB Presidium, Pavel Utyupin, Minister of Industry, Alexey Lyakhnovich, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology, and a number of managers and representatives of design and technological services of leading machine-building enterprises of the Republic of Belarus.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus was acquainted with the extensive exposition of mock-up and experimental samples of electric vehicles, electric drive components and energy devices made by the Institute and other academic organizations implementing projects in the field of electric vehicles.
Sergey Poddubko, General Director of the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, informed the participants about the components of the electric drive, power electronics and self-developed energy storage devices. He also told about promising projects for the creation of a typical series of frame-panel electric vehicles of Belarusian production.
