On 14 February 2019 (Thursday), at 3.00 p.m., a meeting of the Interdepartmental Coordinating Council on Nutrition under the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will be held at the NASB Presidium (Minsk, pr. Niezaliežnasci, 66, room 216). The meeting will be attended by members of the Council, the leadership of the NAS of Belarus, well-known scientists, representatives of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Health, Belarusian state food industry concern, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture, and universities.

The meeting will consider the issue "Functional food: scientific basis of development, production and consumption." Elena Morgunova, Deputy General Director for food products standardization and quality at the Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for foodstuffs, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, will make the main report.
