On 26 December 2019, a solemn meeting on the occasion of the New Year celebration took place at the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov and members of the Bureau of the NASB Presidium wished colleagues Happy New Year and Merry Christmas, summed up results of the year and recalled main events in 2019.

The event also honored the labor dynasties of employees of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Vadim Kitikov, Chairman of the United Branch Trade Union Organization of employees of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, paid tribute to Vityaz, Rubanik, Lukashanets, Sheiko dynasties. Deputy Chairman of the United Branch Trade Union Organization of employees of the NAS of Belarus Lyubov Soboleva was awarded the Certificate of Merit of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The event ended with a concert.
