Organizations of NAS of Belarus Take Part in First Virtual Exhibition of Belarusian Manufacturers Made in Belarus #AgroFood

The first virtual exhibition of Belarusian manufacturers Made in Belarus #AgroFood was launched on the 16th of June, 2020. The visitors can have a look at products of the leading Belarusian agricultural and food enterprises.

The participants from the NASB include:

  • Centre of LED and Optoelectronic Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus
  • Scientific and Practical Centre of the NAS of Belarus on Bioresources
  • Scientific and Practical Centre of the NAS of Belarus on Agricultural Mechanization
  • Institute of Microbiology of the NAS of Belarus
  • Scientific and Practical Centre of the NAS of Belarus on Agriculture
  • Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the NAS of Belarus
  • Scientific and Practical Centre of the NAS of Belarus for Foodstuffs
  • Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry
  • The NAS of Belarus presented developments in the following areas:

  • new varieties of selection and seed breeding of agricultural plants;
  • industrial bio- and nanotechnologies for agriculture;
  • potting soils, organic fertilizer and environmentally-friendly plant protection agents;
  • LED lighting of agricultural plants under the cover conditions in industrial greenhouses;
  • intellectual LED systems for poultry farming;
  • building of machine system and scientific support of its implementation;
  • creation of machinery technological complexes;
  • technologies and manufacture of functional nutrition products;
  • services in the area of scientific and technological support for meat and dairy industry.
  • The electronic platform of the exhibition is an interactive display consisting of virtual stands. At each stand, virtual product samples, business offers and videos are displayed. Visitors to the stands can familiarize themselves with video greetings by the company heads and communicate with a company representative via text chat. All information is presented in Russian and English.

    The virtual exhibition will work until June 19, 2020.
