A meeting of the IAAS Scientific Council for Virology was held on the 17th of July, 2020, as video conferencing.

Alexander Kilchevskiy, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NASB, made an opening speech. Provision on the IAAS Scientific Council for Virology was approved during the meeting. Igor Karpov, the Head of the Infectious Disease Department of the Educational Institution Belarusian State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Chief Specialist on Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, made a report on “Clinical aspects of COVID-19 in the Republic of Belarus”.
