On the 11th of August, 2020, a baby food workshop opening ceremony took place in Marjina Horka at a trial production site of Scientific and Practical Centre for Foodstuffs of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov, as well as management staff of the Academy of Sciences participated in the event.

Foodstuffs with lower protein and phenylalanine content: low-fat macaroni products, mixes for mashed potatoes and dumplings, mixes for baking of cupcakes and cookies, cereals, porridges recommended for people suffering from phenylketonuria, will be produced in the workshop. Also, production of bottled drinking water intended for children, cooking and reconstitution of dry products for children is arranged in the workshop in accordance with the documentation developed by the "Republican Unitary Enterprise Scientific and Practical Centre for Foodstuffs" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
