From 15 to 22 February 2021, the Institute of Linguistics named after Yakub Kolas of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus holds the Week of the mother tongue. It is dedicated to the celebration of the International Mother Language Day, which is celebrated on February 21.

By this date, the branches of “the Institute of Linguistics named after Yakub Kolas of the NASB” are scheduled to hold a number of events: round tables, presentations, speeches to students, educational and entertainment events.
