On April 15, 2021 a ceremonial meeting and opening of the International scientific conference “Philosophy and Modern challenges” took place, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Institute of Philosophy on the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

At the solemn meeting, the Chairman of the Presidium the NAS of Belarus, Academician of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov made a welcoming speech. Congratulations were made by representatives of ministries and departments, partner organizations. The results of the First National Competition for the best philosophical question were announced. On the same day, a meeting of the Presidium of the Belarusian Philosophical Society took place.

At 2 p.m., the opening of the international scientific conference “Philosophy demand by life. To the 90th anniversary of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus”, which took place on April 15 – 16, 2021.

State Scientific Institution “The Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus” is the only specialized research institution in the field of philosophical knowledge in the Republic of Belarus. It organizes and coordinates research in the field of philosophy and related scientific disciplines that are carried out in the country, carries out an examination of scientific projects and public initiatives, performs works and services of methodological, expert, informational and educational character for institutions of the Republic of Belarus and foreign states.
