On April 16, 2021, the International videoconference «Scientific and technical cooperation within the framework “One belt – One Way”» was held.

The organizers of the videoconference are the People’s Government of Kunshan and the Guangdong Union for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation with CIS (PRC) countries.

The videoconference was attended by the first deputy chairman of the presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Sergey Chizhik, the Head of the Main Directorate of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation V.V. Podkopaev, the Head of the Republican Center for Technology Transfer A.A. Uspensky, representatives of the People’s Government of Kunshan and the Guangdong Union for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation with CIS (PRC) countries, Ministry of Agricultural of Georgia, Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. They discussed the prospects for enhancing scientific and technical cooperation within the framework for the initiative “One belt – One Way”.

As part of the videoconference, the grand opening of the Kunshan (Belarus) contact center for talents and scientific and technical innovations took place. The purpose of the center is to promote the commercialization of scientific and technical achievements of the organizations on the NAS of Belarus at the enterprises of Kunshan.
