The 55th anniversary of the Institute of Microbiology of the NAS of Belarus will be dedicated to the XII International Scientific Conference “Microbial Biotechnologies: Fundamental and Applied aspects”, which will be open on June 8, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at the address: Kuprevich str. 2, Minsk, Belarus.

The conference will bring together more than 150 domestic and foreign scientists from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, teachers and students of specialized universities, members of the Belarusian Public Association of Microbiologists, representatives of biotechnological companies with whom the Institute of Microbiology has long-standing and close scientific communication. At the plenary and oral sessions, information on current trends in the development of microbiological science in the world, problems and achievements of domestic microbiology and biotechnology, innovative developments for agriculture, medicine, industry, and environmental protection will be presented and discussed.

The program of the forum includes an exhibition of innovative biotechnological products, where one can get acquainted with the latest developments by the organization of the SSPA “Chemical Synthesis and Biotechnology and other large biotechnological companies; there will be a presentation of equipment for microbiological, biochemical and molecular biological research. Within the framework of the conference, a competition of poster presentations for young scientists will be held, proposals for improving and optimizing the training system for highly qualified specialists will be developed.
