A solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the competition of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Korean company LG Electronics Inc. took place

On December 27, 2021, the NASB hosted a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the second joint competition of the NASB and the Korean company LG Electronics Inc. “Proposals of young scientists of Belarus for LG Electronics Inc. 2021 ". The diplomas were presented to the winners by the Chairman of the Presidium of the NASB Vladimir Gusakov.

In 2021, the NASB, together with the Korean company LG Electronics, held the second competition for young scientists “Proposals of young scientists of Belarus for LG Electronics Inc. 2021 ". According to the Regulations, laureates are awarded with diplomas and cash prizes. Based on the results of consideration and discussion of applications from Belarusian scientific and educational organizations at a meeting of the Technical Consulting Council of LG Electronics - NASB, the members of this council and experts from LG Electronics determined the winners.

The first degree diploma was awarded to Veronika Bezruchenko for the proposal “LIQUID CRYSTAL LENSES FOR CONTROL VIEWING ANGLE IN LCD” (Institute of Chemistry of New Materials of the NASB).

Second degree diplomas were awarded to two young scientists:
Alexandra Serokurova for the proposal “DIRT- AND WATER-REPELLENT COATINGS BASED ON TIO2 THIN FILMS OBTAINED BY THE METHOD OF ION-BEAM SPUTTERING-DEPOSITION” (Scientific Research Center of the NASB for Materials Science);
Alena Stanchik for the proposal “THE Cu2NiSn (S, Se) 4 (CNTSSe) THIN FILMS ON METAL FOIL SUBSTRATES FOR NEW GENERATION FLEXIBLE SOLAR CELLS” (Scientific Research Center for Materials Science of the NASB).

Third degree diplomas were awarded to two young scientists:
Irina Kaltovich for the proposal “3D PRINTER FOR THE PRODUCTION OF PERSONALIZED (THERAPEUTIC AND DIETARY, SPORTS, CHILDREN'S, HYPOALLERGENIC, GERODIETIC) NUTRITION” (RUE “Institute of the Meat and Dairy Industry”);
Alexey Nagibov for the proposal “METHOD FOR DETECTING TRAUMATIC INJURIES IN THE CRANIAL CAVITY” (Institute of Physiology of the NASB).
