On February 22, 2022, the final of the republican project «100 Ideas for Belarus» took place in the industrial park «Great Stone».
It involved 120 projects from all over the country. The final stage of the competition included an exposition of the promising developments and the defense of projects before the Republican Expert Council.
Five of the 20 projects of the young scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, presented in 9 nominations of the final became the best:
Nomination: Energy, including nuclear energy, and the energy efficiency.
Project: Thermosyphons – efficient heat transfer devices (Maxim Kuzmich, State Scientific Institution «Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus»).
Nomination: Industrial and construction technologies.
Project: Ductile cast iron with ausferritic structure (Kovalko Mikhail Sergeevich, State Scientific Institution «Physico-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus»).
Nomination: Healthcare (medical technology, pharmacy, bio and nanoindustry).
Project: Induction defibrillator (Rimsky Grigory Semyonovich, State Scientific and Production Association «Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Materials Science»).
Nomination: Chemical technologies, petrochemistry.
Project: Implementation of the innovative filter elements for carbon dioxide purification to improve the quality and export potential of the nitrogen fertilizers of the «GrodnoAzot JSC» (Victoria Yuryevna Shumskaya, Vladislav Stanislavovich Veligor, V.A. Bely Institute of Mechanics of Metal-Polymer Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, GrodnoAzot JSC).
Nomination: Ecology (rational nature management and deep processing of the natural resources)
Project: Development of technology for obtaining activated carbons from sod peat (Marzan Anastasia Sergeevna, State Scientific Institution «Institute of Nature Management of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus»).
The winners of the competition received the right to participate in the second stage of the republican competition of the innovative projects from the State Committee for Science and Technology. Also, on the basis of a business plan, they can receive a loan for the implementation of an idea up to 300,000 rubles at 5% per annum in the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs. Director of the Center for System Analysis and Strategic Research Goncharov Valery Valeryevich and Deputy Director of the Institute of History, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Yuretsky Stanislav Stepanovich acted as members of the expert council from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
