On June 7, 2022, a signing ceremony of two Cooperation Agreements with Chinese partners from the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Gansu Province was held via videoconference.

The Forest Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus was a party to both agreements, and the Research Institute of Vegetables and the Institute of Soil Fertilizers and Water Conservation Agriculture was a partner of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Gansu Province. The signing ceremony was attended on the Belarusian side by representatives of the leadership of the Department of Agrarian Sciences of NAS of Belarus and the General Directorate for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the staff of NAS of Belarus, on the Chinese side – by the representatives of the management of the Gansu Province Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Gansu Province Government.

The main objectives of the agreements are development and implementation of joint scientific and technical projects in the field of environmental protection, soil science and fertilizers, as well as vegetable growing.
