16–24 July 2022 State Scientific Institution « V.F. Kuprevich Institute of Experimental Botany of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus» holds a Youth Summer School on Forest Phytocenology «SYLVAN-2022» on the territory of the National Park «Belovezhskaya Pushcha» on the basis of an environmental education center in the village of Voytov Most.

The purpose of the summer school is to familiarize students and undergraduates in biological and forestry specialties with various methods of the forest ecosystem research, exchange of experience of leading experts in the field of the forest phytocenology and dendrochronology with the young scientists, expansion of ties between the National Academy of Sciences and universities of Belarus. reports of the leading scientists in the following areas:
- study of the forest phytocenoses on the permanent sample plots;
- dendrochronology;
- geobotanical description of the forest phytocenoses by the route method; - living and dead wood in the forest;
- forest soil science.

As a result the work of the summer school should be:
- increasing the motivation of students and undergraduates to engage in scientific activities;
- sharing the experience of leading scientists in the field of the forest phytocenology and dendrochronology with young specialists;
- developing the links between the scientific and educational institutions in the field of biology and forestry.

To participate in 18 people representing 7 research institutions, higher educational institutions of Belarus were registered for the seminar. Venue: NP «Belovezhskaya Pushcha» (v. Voytov Most, Svisloch district, Grodno region, Republic of Belarus).
