At the operational meeting on July 25, 2022, the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Academician Vladimir Gusakov, presented the badge «Big medal of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus» to Sergey Aleksandrovich Tikhomirov, Deputy Academician-Secretary of the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Corresponding Member, for significant personal contribution to the development of Belarusian science and the high scientific and technological achievements.

The commemorative sign «At the 100th anniversary of the Institute of Belarusian Culture» was awarded to the representatives of the organizations of the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics. Scientists were awarded the high award for their significant personal contribution to the development of the Belarusian science, the fruitful activities to strengthen the scientific potential of the country.
