At the operational meeting on August 8, 2022, the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Academician Vladimir Gusakov, presented the badge «Big medal of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus» to Leonid Pobol, Head of of the laboratory of the State Scientific Institution «Physico-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus», Doctor of Technical Sciences, for many years of fruitful scientific, innovative and scientific-organizational activities, development of the advanced technologies in the field of electron-beam and ion chemical-thermal processing and their implementation in the real sector of the country's economy.

The commemorative sign «At the 100-year honor of the Institute of Belarusian Culture» was presented to representatives of organizations of the Department of Physical and Technical Sciences. Scientists were awarded the high award for their significant personal contribution to the development of Belarusian science, fruitful activities to strengthen the scientific potential of the country.
