On October 14, 2022 at 15:00, the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the primary organization of the NGO «Belarusian Women's Union» of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invite you to the literary and artistic celebration «The Unquenchable Light of Mother's Love», dedicated to Mother's Day.

As part of the event, an exhibition of icons «The Great Patroness of Belarus» of the Belarusian school of icon painting with images of the Mother of God from the funds of the Museum of Ancient Belarusian Culture will be presented. Participants and guests of the meeting will be offered a book exhibition prepared by the library staff, which will present ancient and modern publications containing images of the Blessed Theotokos, studies on the role of this image for our country, works on ethnography and folklore, which touch upon the issues of traditions, signs and beliefs associated with the Slavs with the feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, as well as works by Belarusian poets and writers dedicated to the most precious thing for everyone The living room will also host a meeting with writers Raisa Borovikova, a laureate of literary awards, one of the prominent figures in the modern cultural life of our country, and the author of detective stories and novels Viktor Pravdin.
