The results of scientific activity of scientists and research teams working in the field of basic and applied research in the form of publications and innovations obtained for the first time or completed in 2022 are submitted for the competition, if they meet the following criteria: the result is published in the publication with a high impact factor; the publication is included in international databases; the fundamentally new scientific information obtained for the first time published in a book form (chapters in the monograph) and is significant for the program «Top Ten».

ПThe right to nominate the nominees for participation in the «Top 10» contest is given to the scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the full members (academicians) of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. An organization (academician) can nominate several teams of authors (individual authors) to participate in the «Top 10» competition.

The organizations (academicians) nominating the nominees for the competition submit the following set of documents:
- a letter of nomination to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, signed by the Head of the organization or an academician, which includes a brief motivated presentation of the nominees and a description of their scientific achievements;
- a brief formulation of the result (no more than 400 characters); in the case of nomination of a cycle of scientific works, additionally indicate the list of works included in the cycle;
- a list of all scientific works of the nominees, published on the topic of the obtained result, with the indication of the impact factors of the publications, in which the results were published;
- copies of the scientific papers of the nominees published in 2021 on the topic of the obtained result;
- copies of documents confirming the importance of the development for social and economic development of the Republic of Belarus (patents, copyright certificates, certificates of implementation of scientific results in practice and (or) the educational process), if available;
- a certificate of the nominee for each of the nominees;
- photocopies of pages 25, 31-33 of the passport of each nominee;
- a consolidated application form (the application form is available here) as a MS Word compatible file and printout signed by the Head of the organization or an academic.

The set of documents marked «For the Contest «Top Ten» Results of the Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in 2022» should be sent to the profile department of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus not later than December 1, 2022.
