On October 18-19, 2022, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Strategy for the Development of the Economy of Belarus: Challenges, Implementation Tools and Prospects» was held at the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The event was attended by more than 200 representatives of leading research organizations, institutions of higher education, republican government bodies and business circles, including scientists from the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the People's Republic of China.

As part of the plenary and breakout sessions, issues were considered that reflect the problems and prospects for sustainable socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus, including areas of macroeconomic regulation of the economy, development of the business environment and services, innovation, investment and foreign economic policy, strengthening human potential, as well as legal aspects of ensuring the national security of the country.
