On November 18, 2022, the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the T. F. Gorbachev Kuzbass State Technical University took place.

The document was signed by Sergey Chizhik, First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and Alexey Yakovlev, Rector of the T. F. Gorbachev Kuzbass State Technical University (KuzSTU). The agreement provides for the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of science and education, the development of joint research and training of highly qualified academic and teaching staff, the exchange of educational, methodological, scientific literature and didactic materials between KuzSTU and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in areas of mutual interest. The parties agreed to develop and implement joint innovative and research projects, including within the framework of programs organized on the platform of the world-class scientific and educational center «Kuzbass»; to participate in international educational and scientific projects jointly; to work on the organization of joint research laboratories and temporary teams for the implementation of research projects and programs, including joint programs for training, retraining and advanced training of employees.

Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and T. F. Gorbachev Kuzbass State Technical University will exchange faculty and academic staff, researchers, postgraduates, doctoral students, masters and bachelors in the form of short- and long-term scientific internships, as well as lectures; attract faculty and academic staff and students to participate in seminars and conferences held at the premises of the parties. The plans include the publication of joint textbooks, study guides, scientific monographs, articles, collections of scientific papers and other scientific, learning and teaching publications.
