On November 18, 2022, the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov held negotiations with a delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education of Cuba headed by Deputy Minister Mrs. Miriam Isabel Alpizar Santana.

During the negotiations, the current state of cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and scientific organizations of Cuba, promising areas for the development of cooperation were discussed. According to the parties, the most promising areas are such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals.

The guests got acquainted in detail with the latest developments of scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, which are presented at the permanent exhibition «Achievements of national science for production».
