The NAS of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan will determine the ten most effective projects of scientific and technical cooperation.

Such an agreement was reached today during negotiations between Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov and President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Myakzyum Salakhov. As Vladimir Gusakov noted during the meeting, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus attaches special importance to the development of cooperation with Tatarstan. «Today we are actively cooperating with a number of scientific centers of the Russian Federation. Cooperation with Tatarstan is a priority for us. In the near future, it is necessary to identify ten priority specific projects of scientific and technical cooperation, which will be the most effective and mutually beneficial for the benefit of our economies and society», Vladimir Gusakov stressed.

In turn, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Myakzyum Salakhov noted that the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan has been working fruitfully with scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for a long time and is fully open for cooperation with scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in all areas of mutual interest.

During the meeting, it was noted that in September 2022, a «roadmap» for scientific and technical cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan was signed. This interaction needs to be actively developed. According to the parties, the most promising are research in such fields as chemistry, petrochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, agro-industrial technologies, energy, climatology, humanities.

On December 8, 2022, the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus held negotiations with a delegation of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Myakzyum Salakhov. During the negotiations, the current state of cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and scientific organizations of Tatarstan, promising areas for the development of cooperation were discussed. The guests got acquainted in detail with the latest developments of scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, which are presented at the permanent exhibition «Achievements of National Science for Production».
