On January 6, 2023, pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of the Russian Federation Sergey Kud-Sverchkov visited the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
Sergey Vladimirovich supported the tradition and planted a Skyrocket juniper tree on the Cosmonauts Alley of the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The ceremony was attended by Ivan Bucha, Deputy Head of Aerospace Activities of the Apparatus of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and Valentin Shatravko, Director of the Central Botanical Garden.
A meeting was also held in the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus with the participation of the Head of the Aerospace Activities Department, Deputy Head of the Agency for Space Research Pyotr Vityaz, Academician-Secretary of the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Alexander Shumilin, as well as employees of the Aerospace Activities Department. The pilot-cosmonaut spoke about his professional activities on board the International Space Station, about space experiments, emotions and feelings on the station and in outer space, about the task from Earth and first impressions after the transition from the spacecraft to the station.
